SaladoConverter:Quick start

[edit] Run application

This app requires at least Java 1.6. If you are not sure if you have Java installed, or what version do you have, check your Java version and update if nessesery.

In order to run application double click on SaladoConverter.jar or run it with command line.

[edit] Add input

• Input images can be only in *.jpg *.png, *.bmp *.gif or *.tif format.
• Add equirectangular panorama images (width to height proportion 2:1)
• Alternaitvely you can add directories containing cube faces (six square images of same size)
• When adding cube faces keep in mind that names should follow convention:
  • name_f.jpg - front
  • name_b.jpg - back
  • name_l.jpg - left
  • name_r.jpg - right
  • name_u.jpg - up
  • name_d.jpg - down

[edit] Select operation

• Selecting specific operations will couse changes in "R" Column
• Only images marked with selected and enabled checkbox will be processed

[edit] Exclude images

• You can optionally exclude some images from processing by uchecking checkboxes in "R" column.

[edit] Process images

• Processed files are saved in "Output" directory
• When all operations will be complete "SaladoConverter log" will be closed
• Processing images will couse changes in "Status" colum
• In case of any problems read content of "SaladoConverter log" (File -> show log)
• Hitting "Cancel" button will not stop currently running operation
